Edith Nagy and Pat Deuling Outfitting holds permits in the Alberta Rocky Mountains.  The Zone 417 mule deer hunting area is located on the headwaters of the James River in the foothills of the Limestone Mountains.

Each mule deer hunt is typically 7 to 10 days in length (excluding transportation to base camp).  Hunters are greeted at the Calgary International Airport (Calgary, Alberta, Canada).  Base camp consists of wall-tents with wood stoves for hunter lodging and a cook tent in which the outfitters prepare and provide all meals. 

Availability Dates:

Mule deer season in Zones 417 and 418 is from September 17th to November 30th.  Preferred hunt dates are November 16th to November 30th to take advantage of the rut season.
