Nagy and Pat Deuling Outfitting holds one mule deer permit in the 417 Zone of
the Alberta Rocky Mountains. The
Zone 417 mule deer hunting area is located on the headwaters of the James River
in the foothills of the Limestone Mountains.
Each mule deer hunt is typically 7 to 10
days in length (excluding transportation to base camp).
Hunters are greeted at the Calgary International Airport (Calgary,
Alberta, Canada) and transportation to our base camp on the James River is provided.
Base camp consists of wall-tents with wood stoves for hunter lodging and
a cook tent in which the outfitters prepare and provide all meals.
From the 417 mule deer base camp hunters will be guided on daily hunts on
foot and horse-back.
Two additional permits for mule deer are
available in the 418 Zone of the Alberta Rocky Mountains. The 418 Zone mule deer
hunting area is located on the Red Deer River immediately surrounding the
Ya-Ha-Tinda Ranch.

Availability Dates:
Mule deer
season in Zones 417 and 418 is from September 17th to November 30th.
Preferred hunt dates are November 16th to November 30th to
take advantage of the rut season. |
