Edith Nagy and Pat Deuling Outfitting holds two whitetail deer permits in Zone 420 of the Alberta Rocky Mountains.  Our whitetail deer hunting area is located on the Clearwater River east of Banff National Park.

Each whitetail deer hunt is typically 7 to 10 days in length (excluding transportation to base camp).  Hunters are met at the Calgary International Airport (Calgary, Alberta, Canada) and transportation to our base camp on the Clearwater River is provided.  Base camp consists of wall-tents with wood stoves for hunter lodging and a cook tent in which the outfitters prepare and provide all meals.  From the whitetail deer base camp hunters will be guided on daily hunts on foot and horse-back.

An additional permit for whitetail deer is available in Zone 216. This hunt is on private farmland approximately one and a half hours northwest of Calgary, Alberta in the Olds-Sundre area.  Hunts will be conducted from our home near Sundre, Alberta by truck.  Hunts are either “spot and stock” or tree stand with bow or rifle.

Availability Dates:

Whitetail deer season in the mountain region is from September 17th to November 30th.
